Meizu had an unveiling event today, that brought us the Meizu M6s model, right after leaks. It’s as modern because it gets, by having an Exynos 7872 processor, 18:9 screen and a 3000 mAh battery. Additional specs as well as the price are detailed below.

Previous teasers for your device hinted along at the existence of a fingerprint scanner baked into the screen. Sadly, we misinterpreted the teasers, since there’s no such thing here. The fingerprint scanner is now affixed to one side, like we’ve seen about the Xperias. The CPU is rather solid here, an Exynos 7872 hexa core unit with two Cortex A73 cores clocked at 2 GHz and 4 Cortex A53 cores at 1.63 GHz.

Oddly enough, Qualcomm forbade Samsung from selling Exynos chipsets to device makers yet still they’re getting this done. That happened a year ago nevertheless Meizu is making phones with such a CPU inside. Into the device there’s a Mali-G71 MP3 GPU, 32 or 64 GB of storage about three GB of RAM. The screen is often a 5.7 inch HD+ unit having an 18:9 aspect and now we acquire a front 8 MP camera, with Beauty features.

The main camera can be a 16 MP shooter, with LED flash and F/2.0 aperture. There’s a 3000 mAh battery here, with 18W fast charging (from zero to 30% in A quarter-hour), and a USB type-C port. To the software front, there’s Flyme OS 6.2, determined by Android. Meizu M6s delivers a full metal case and it’s coming in at $155 for that 32 GB unit and $186 to your 64 GB one.
